Lifecycle position

Engineering, construction, cost, interfaces and contractual control

Maintain one control thread across engineering, programme, site supervision, quantities, payments, permits, utilities, notices, variations and claims while multidisciplinary work moves through construction.

Service at a glance

  • Notice, variation, claim and contractual deadline registers
  • EOT, prolongation, disruption and entitlement-support preparation
  • Contemporary records, Engineer/Employer correspondence and dispute-avoidance governance
01

From signed contract to operating controls

A signed contract does not administer itself. At mobilisation, Gokbilge converts key contractual obligations into operating registers for notices, submissions, approvals, securities, Employer obligations, payment events, testing, completion and time-bar deadlines.

These controls are linked to planning, cost, engineering, procurement and site records so the project team sees contractual obligations in the same workflow as the events that can create entitlement or liability.

02

Notice and event management

Potential claim and variation events are captured when they occur, not months later. Each event can be assigned a cause, contractual basis, notice requirement, responsible owner, evidence source, schedule effect, cost effect and required next action.

Formal correspondence is coordinated with technical records. This reduces the risk that a site instruction, meeting minute, RFI or progress report contradicts the contractual position later relied on in a notice or claim.

03

Time-related claims and EOT

For delay events, the service focuses on contemporaneous chronology, programme logic and causation. Baseline and updated programmes, critical-path effects, Employer delays, access restrictions, late approvals, changes and concurrent events are organized into an auditable record.

Gokbilge can support EOT submissions, prolongation cost records and disruption substantiation, working with planners, quantity surveyors and technical teams so the time and cost narratives rely on the same factual basis.

04

Variations and commercial recovery

Variations are tracked from instruction through scope definition, quotation, rate build-up, approval and incorporation into the programme and cost forecast. New rates, dayworks, provisional items and downstream subcontract effects are coordinated rather than processed as isolated commercial documents.

The claim register can be connected to forecast-at-completion so management sees claimed value, assessed entitlement, expected recovery, cost incurred and residual exposure separately.

05

Dispute avoidance and escalation

The objective is to resolve issues while the project can still be managed. Escalation matrices, decision logs, negotiation briefs and issue papers help move unresolved matters from project teams to senior management or contractual determination mechanisms before positions harden unnecessarily.

Where the contract provides for an Engineer, dispute board, DAAB or expert determination, Gokbilge can organize the project records and technical-commercial submissions required to present the issue clearly.

06

Professional boundary

Gokbilge provides contract administration, factual record development, claim preparation and technical-commercial support. Formal legal opinions, arbitration advocacy, court representation and enforceability advice remain with qualified legal counsel.
