Control philosophy and architecture

SCADA and automation engineering starts with operating philosophy, control boundaries, data ownership, communication architecture and fail-safe behaviour. The system is defined around how the asset must be operated, not around a list of software screens.

FAT, SAT and integrated tests

Factory and site testing verify signal integrity, addressing, commands, alarms, interlocks, time synchronisation and fail-safe behaviour. Point-to-point checks are followed by functional sequences and fault scenarios where appropriate.

Interfaces with protection systems, meters, remote assets and third-party platforms are tested against approved logic rather than assumed from protocol connectivity alone.

Operational handover

Handover includes approved software backups, configuration records, network addressing, user access, alarm settings, operating procedures and test evidence. This gives the operator a controlled baseline for future maintenance and change.

The client receives dependable operational visibility and a documented system that can be supported after commissioning.
