Gokbilge delivered mechanical, SCADA and engineering subcontract works on a World Bank-funded FIDIC wastewater treatment plant in the Denizli 1st Organized Industrial Zone, for Ayyildiz Inşaat — among the largest treatment plants built within Turkey's organized industrial zones.
Built on a 30,000 sqm site, the central plant provides physical (mechanical), chemical, biological and sludge dewatering treatment with a capacity of 55,860 m3 per day, equivalent to a population of 280,000.
Completed in 11 months, the project secured its discharge permit from the Denizli Governorate Provincial Directorate of Environment in just 3 months, and is recorded in Turkish construction history for two notable records: project duration and cost.
Scope covered mechanical installation of treatment process equipment and SCADA and instrumentation integration, executed to the technical and reporting standards required under FIDIC and World Bank project conditions.
