Umut Hospital EPC

Umut Hospital was delivered for Saner Holding under full EPC responsibility, combining building construction with coordination of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems required for hospital operation. Healthcare buildings place unusually high demands on coordination because clinical spaces, building services, circulation and operational requirements compete for the same physical envelope.

The EPC role therefore required architectural and structural progress to remain aligned with MEP installation needs. Service routes, equipment locations, access and finishing sequence have to be coordinated before areas are closed so building completion does not create inaccessible or incomplete technical systems.

Hospital handover is more than completion of finishes. Building services must be available, coordinated and documented so the operating organization can move into a controlled environment. Completion records and remaining items therefore need to distinguish cosmetic close-out from issues that can affect system operation or maintainability.

The project reflects Gokbilge's experience carrying a building from integrated construction through readiness for its intended use. The value of that approach is a clearer transition between contractor completion and the facility team's responsibility for day-to-day operation.
