Project experience

Delivery context and execution approach

The sections below add technical context to the published project facts without introducing undisclosed commercial or customer claims.

01

Campus EPC and multidisciplinary building systems

Gokbilge delivered the main campus of Istanbul Rumeli University under EPC scope, carrying the building through multidisciplinary construction and MEP coordination to handover for academic use. Educational buildings combine classrooms, circulation, administrative functions and technical services, requiring coordinated progress across architecture, structure and building systems.

MEP coordination is particularly important where service routes pass through teaching and common areas. Equipment rooms, shafts, ceiling zones, penetrations and maintenance access need to be resolved before finishes progress so academic spaces are not reopened for late technical work.

02

Handover for academic operation

Handover had to connect physical building completion with the practical needs of an operating university. Technical systems, access, life-safety interfaces and outstanding works need a clear status so users can occupy the campus without inheriting uncontrolled construction activity.

The project reflects Gokbilge's integrated-building delivery experience: coordinating construction and technical systems through to a point where the facility can transfer from contractor control to the institution's operating organization.
